9R Wheel – Bigger Power for Your Biggest Jobs
We’ve added kilowatts and shifting control across the board, giving you extra pulling power and the ability to reach and maintain higher speeds in rough field conditions – without sacrificing accuracy or fuel economy. The 13.6L engine offers up to 640 horsepower, and delivers improved fuel efficiency and faster start times, plus it stays in the power band longer for long pulls or tough spots in the field. Not only does it supply 13.5% more horsepower than the 13.5L engine, but it also carries less weight and overall size, and reduces raw engine noise by 50%. All 9 Series tractors are now built with the JD14 Engine. Get up to a 37 kilowatt increase during high flow hydraulic applications for full engine power. Couple that with the hydraulic capacity you need, and these tractors can handle large planters and seeding equipment with ease. Get smooth shifting and intuitive controls in a reliable 18-speed PowerShift transmission. Redesigned gears, increased cooling capacity for clutch disks, and more clutch disks in range clutches allows the e18 to deliver the strength to handle sudden, high-torque power loads while maintaining responsive, quick and smooth shifts.

9RX – 4 Track -Never fear – the four-track tractor with the industry’s highest rated engine horsepower (640) is here. Our new 9RX Tractors are ideal for when you need a powerful, high-flotation tractor that can handle higher-speed, widerworking implements like planters, nutrient application bars and grain carts. Multiple track widths and tread spacings allow the 9RX to perform both row-crop and broad-acre applications, with better grip in tough soil conditions and less berming during planting applications and under heavy loads. Their impressive strength, greater hydraulic capacity, 4-post cab suspension and latest engine advancements make large jobs manageable and long days fly by.
