AFGRI Equipment Technicians shine again, in the John Deere Technician of the Year Award.

 

After a rigorous few months of practical and written assessments, tough competition, and incredibly high stakes, the AFGRI Equipment technicians have proven their commitment and talent again! This year 4 out of the top ten technicians are proudly AFGRI Equipment employees!

The John Deere Technician of the Year challenge tests the entrant’s practical ability and industry knowledge. Technicians compete against one another for the ultimate award and title of John Deere’s ” Technician of the Year”. Once again AFGRI Equipment proved that our success stems from the constant investment in our people from the moment they start their journey at AFGRI Equipment. We are incredibly proud to congratulate Gert Grobler from AFGRI Equipment in Grootvlei, Izak de Lange from AFGRI Equipment Delmas, Patrick Modise from AFGRI Equipment Middelburg, and Tiaan Oosthuizen from AFGRI Equipment Polokwane.

The final examinations were undertaken on 31 August and 1 September 2020. The results will be made public in November at a date yet to be decided, in the meantime, we are holding thumbs!

There were over 90 technicians entered, and once again AFGRI Equipment proved that our people have what it takes and that we provide the best service in the industry, and that our technicians have what it takes to make your tractor run like a Deere should!
