At AFGRI Equipment, we are always looking for ways to support our clients’ operations more efficiently. Recently, we introduced a John Deere diesel bowser designed specifically to meet the needs of a client managing a fleet of ADTs and other heavy machines.
The Challenge
Refueling large machines during production often means stopping work, moving equipment off site, and losing valuable time. For a client running multiple machines, this process can slow down productivity significantly. Properly accounting for what amount of fuel is dispensed as well as enhanced safety are some of the other benefits
The Solution
Together with Cobra Projects we built a mobile diesel bowser that can move directly to the machines while they are in operation. This innovation speeds up the refueling and maintenance process and ensures that machines remain in production without unnecessary downtime.
With this addition to the fleet, the client no longer needs to pull machines out of production for refueling. Instead, they can keep working while being refueled — saving time, increasing efficiency, and boosting overall productivity. This compliments the offering of John Deere ADT’s for our mining customers. Built on the John Deere 410 P-Tier ADT, these modules are customized according to customer requirements and as such this bowser features a grease pod and high-pressure washer.
Looking Ahead
The future holds even more possibilities. Plans are underway for a water bowser that can spray haulage roads, allowing graders to maintain them more effectively. Well‑maintained roads increase cycle times and reduce wear on machines, lowering maintenance costs and extending equipment life. Other functions are dust suppression, cleaning of machines and even firefighting.
