It’s that time of the year again and we are so proud to announce that our AFGRI Equipment Parts Specialists are ruling the top 54 leaderboard in the John Deere Parts Expert of the year in 2020!
38 of the top 54 Parts Technicians are from AFGRI Equipment, on the 4th of September 2020 Round Three of the parts Assessment was conducted at the John Deere Training Centre in Boksburg, there was a written and a practical assessment in the competition for the title of “Parts Expert of the Year” and anticipation is as high as the stakes. The winner will receive a trip to the United States of America in December 2020, where they will visit some John Deere factories and have a sightseeing trip that is beyond comparison!
We would like to congratulate the following candidates who made it to the Top 10 of the John Deere Parts Expert of the Year Competition, Abraham Mouton, Deon Britz, Jaco Wessels, Hannes Haefele and Morne Cloete, that is 5 AFGRI Equipment candidates out of the candidates in the top 10!
Jaco Wessels from the Afgri Equipment branch in Marquard was a previous winner in the John Deere Parts Expert of the Year 2019. Wessels has been in the parts business for 25 years, and with Afgri equipment for 18 years. All eyes are on Wessels to see if he is going to claim the title of Parts Expert of the Year for the again! AFGRI Equipment is proud of the level of expertise, knowledge, hard skills, and GRIT that these gentlemen have shown in the competition thus far and wish them all the best for the winning announcement!
